Tim Dalling has been working as a performer, musician and songwriter since he left Glasgow School of Art in 1982. He busked, was a member of Kneehigh Theatre in its formative years and spent 25 years entertaining as part of comedy/folk trio the The Old Rope String Band and now works as a solo artist or in theatre shows eg Wise Children’s The Little Match Girl, La Strada, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He is currently working as composer and performing as Ben Gunn in Treasure Island for Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh and developing a company to make a Ceilidh-Theatre show called The Magic Hare-Piece. He has lived in Newcastle upon Tyne since 1987.
